Below is a list of all the upcoming sewing lesson dates for you to choose from. We keep this list updated all the time but it is also a good idea to subscribe to our newsletter where we notify our members of new dates ahead of them being published on our site.

Each month Pam will introduce a new quilting pattern design, where you will learn how piece together your quilt pieces for that design. Or you can use the lesson to complete a quilting project that you are already busy with, whether you need help with pattern piecing for your quilt or help to get the quilting process started, Pam’s expert knowledge and guidance will get you on the right track to complete your quilt.
Our quilting classes are for all quilting levels and are extremely popular, so book your spot early to avoid disappointment. Quilting is so much fun, its also very addictive and every quilt is as unique as you are.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are supplied, A short break halfway through will be taken for lunch, so we suggest you bring along a packed lunch.

This is a social sewing workshop where you can bring along your own sewing project; meet other like-minded people and have the use of the studio sewing machines, overlockers, cutting tables and I'll be there, so you'll have my knowledge on hand if you need a little assistance.

Get To Know Your Overlocker: 3 hours @ £60.00

Get to know your overlocker like a pro! Tanya will cover all you need to know, such as threading, sewing curves and corners, and overlocking challenging fabrics. Master your thread tension and learn how to sew a rolled hem. Please note that you will be using the Janome overlockers we have in the studio. If you want to use your own overlocker we suggest booking a private 1-1 lesson.
POP-UP COURSE
Quilted Tote Bag: 2 x 3 hour @ £110

Suitable for a confident beginner
Bring along all your fabric scraps and piece them together to make a colourful quilted tote bag. A fun, creative sewing project, and a great way to use up all those pieces of fabric you’ve been hoarding!!

Please note: the cost excludes fabric, please visit the shop for help with choices available. Learn to lay out and cut a pattern, learn about fabric grain lines and pattern markings and how to cut your fabric, sew a patch pocket, use bias binding, make fabric straps and top stitching sewing.
Cushion with zip and piping: 1 x 4 hours @ £90.00

This is only for those that already know how to sew. You need to be a confident sewer with some sewing experie ce, but not an expert sewer.
You will learn how to make your own piping for your piped cushion and how to insert an invisible zip.
No need to bring anything as all materials will be provided. Come and learn first and take home a sample and notes so you can make your own cushions at home. Limited to 5 spaces.

Teen Holiday Sewing Club: 3 hours @ £45 per lesson

I have introduced this teen class as there have been a lot of requests for a teenage holiday sewing group. For now, I am offering once a fortnight for teens to come and enjoy a few hours of fun sewing. They can bring along any project they like, I also have a growing range of patterns and ideas suitable for various sewing abilities.
