SEW AND TELL: 3 HOURS £35.00

 

This is a social sewing workshop where you can bring along your own sewing project. Meet other like-minded people and have the use of the studio sewing machines, overlockers, cutting tables, and have my knowledge on hand if you are needing a little assistance. This will be run once a fortnight on Wednesday evenings to begin with and, if it proves to be popular, I will add another day in the next few months.

This is an introduction to overlocking where you will learn the basics from threading to cleaning and how to do various hem finishes. You will need to bring your own overlocker for this course.

As a special once off, I am collaborating with Lydia Finney to come and do a Block Print cushion workshop on

Friday 7th June from 2-4pm  

You will block-print fabric to make a cushion cover

This is an easy to make pair of dungarees, It is an over sized fit, with side pockets and tie bib fastenings. I have the full range of sizes that can be tried on so that you can be sure you are sewing the correct size for yourself. This is more for a confident intermediate/ advanced sewer as there is lots of top stitching. Suitable for most woven fabrics but not suitable for stretch fabrics
