These tapestry / embroidery needles are perfect for embroidery. The needles are made of hardened steel, have finely honed tips and are burr free.
 
For easy threading of wool or thicker yarns embroidery needles need a correspondingly large eye. The finely honed tip and the smooth coated surface of the needles allow them to glide effortlessly through any material. A balanced ratio of length and strength gives the needles their good use flexibility.
 
As the rounded tip does not penetrate the fibres, but rather pushes them aside, the embroidery needles are especially suitable for embroidery with coarser materials such as wool.
